Elevated approximately about 750 metres above sea level, Trimbak is a major municipality
council situated in the Nasik district of the Indian state of Maharashtra and is located
near the origin of the Godavari River. With a population
of about 12,056 according to the 2011 Indian population Census, Trimbak is associated with
an average literacy rate of 89.61%.
Nasik is situated on Godavari River Bank and is an important hub for pilgrimage
sites. It is famous for its vineyards and wineries involved in the extensive production of
