Sila is a village located in the Kamrup district of the Northern Guwahati Tehsil, in the
Indian state of Assam. The location code of this village is 303380. Dhupartari is the gram
panchayat of Sila. The sub-district headquarters
of North Guwahati is located at a distance of 5km, whereas, Amingaon headquarters is at a

(Kim) clan ruled for 586 years, the Miryang Bak (Park) clan for 232 years, and the Wolseong
Seok clan for 172 years. The dynasty was founded by Hyeokgeose of Silla, of the Park family.
It began as a chiefdom in the Samhan confederacies,
allied with Sui China and later Tang China before conquering the other two kingdoms, Baekje
and Goguryeo, in 660 and 668. Later, Silla ruled much of the Korean Peninsula after then,
but Balhae, a successor-state of Goguryeo,
re-emerged in the north. Silla disintegrated into the short Later Three Kingdoms of Silla,
Later Baekje, and Taebong after almost 1,000 years of Korean reign, turning up control to
Goryeo in 935.

2011 census, Sila had a total population of 2,450; males constituted 1,330 people, and
females included another 1,120.
