Kanhangad used to be a very busy ferry in NH66, but the opening of the Varapuzha Bridge has negated the importance of the place. The only significant trade in the area is areca nut trading. The new National Highway to the Vallarpadam container terminal from Kalamassery passes through Cheranellore, cutting the NH66, forming the only junction in this highway, which is considered one of the most prominent junctions in the city. Cochi has a vast network of interconnected roadways and highways connecting it to the major cities. The secondary roads extend throughout the country connecting Cochi to the rest of India. For example, one can enter Kanhangad from the city of Cochin via the National Highway66. This is a 340 kilometers long road that takes 8 hours and 15 minutes to cover.
The closest branch is situated in the city of Cochin at a distance of 340 kilometers. The increased duration is due to traffic concerns. This proximity makes customers comfortable and convenient to call in to use their services.
